The Kompus group is organizing the sixth edition of its annual exhibition, with the opening scheduled for October 7, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., in a historic house in Bucharest’s Armenian Quarter. The exhibition will be open to visitors until October 16, with access permitted by invitation or through advance booking made via the group’s official Facebook and Instagram pages.
Kompus was founded in 2021 and brings together former and current students of Professor George Moscal from the National University of Arts in Bucharest. The group has a fluid structure, permanently open to new participants, and each edition brings together different generations and artistic practices.
The diversity of themes and visual languages is the exhibition’s main characteristic. The works propose a dialogue about creation, identity and visual expression, in a setting where the public can speak directly with the artists and discover the stories behind the works.
The project’s continuity has been supported by Cristina Grigorescu, and starting with this edition, the Artemisia Association is joining the organization, contributing to attracting and managing the necessary resources. The 37 exhibiting artists include George Moscal, Cristina Maria Grigorescu, Andreea Ciulei, Ana Ilie, Bogdan Sassu and Liviana Tănase. Professor George Moscal describes the project’s consistency, which began in 2021, as one of its main qualities.
