Lionel Messi, 38, had an impressive run of five games with two goals apiece, but could not prevent Inter Miami from losing 0-3 to Cincinnati. Coach Javier Mascherano recognized the dominance of his opponents. With 16 goals in 17 games, Messi is second in the scoring charts and Inter Miami is fifth in the Eastern Conference with a chance to make up ground.
