Context: Bayern are going through a period of technical uncertainty and medical problems ahead of the summer
Before transfer discussions intensified, Bayern München announced that coach Vincent Kompany was recovering after collapsing during a training session with the reserve team on October 23. Assistant coach Aaron Danks said that Kompany’s condition was gradually improving, but that no clear timeframe had been set for his return, so he took over some of the technical responsibilities.
During the same period, Bayern was also affected by uncertainties regarding players: goalkeeper Manuel Neuer and midfielder Jamal Musiala remained “still doubtful,” while other names such as Minjae Kim and Aleksandar Pavlović were close to returning.
