Andrei Cordea could leave CFR Cluj during the next transfer window after his performances attracted interest from FCSB and several teams from China. The footballer is valued at approximately three million euros, and Gigi Becali is ready to make an offer to bring him back to the Bucharest club.
CFR coach Marius Șumudică confirmed that the player could be transferred in the winter and emphasized that he is a valuable footballer who could be easily sold on. The coach revealed that Andrei Cordea previously turned down an offer from Universitatea Craiova to remain in Cluj, despite an estimated financial loss of 170,000 euros.
Șumudică praised the midfielder’s commitment and sacrifice, describing him as “a hero” and a player capable of making the difference even when he does not perform well throughout the entire match.
Cordea scored 13 goals and provided five assists last season, while this campaign he has five goals and three assists in 11 matches. The coach believes CFR Cluj should receive a significant sum for him, regardless of whether his destination is FCSB or a club abroad.
