Napoli has officially announced the departure of Antonio Conte from the position of coach

Napoli Club officially announced on Monday that Antonio Conte is no longer the team's coach, thanking him through a post on X: "Grazie Mister Conte". His departure was anticipated, as Conte announced his decision on Sunday evening, after the 1-0 victory against Udinese, in a press conference where he questioned the merits of the Inter Milan team.

The 56-year-old Italian coach took over the Napoli team in the summer of 2024, leading them to win the Scudetto in his first season. In the second season, Napoli finished second in Serie A, behind Inter Milan.

Conte had a record of 91 matches, with 54 wins, 19 draws, and 18 losses, having an average of 1.99 points per match, the third best in the 21st century for Napoli. The elimination from the Champions League coincided with a decline in the team's form, affecting their performance in the league.
