Approximately 6,000 tons of diesel have been delivered to the Republic of Moldova in the last 24 hours, and a new shipment of the same capacity is expected during the day on Monday, to reduce the fuel deficit in the country. According to the authorities, 53 out of the 590 gas stations no longer had diesel in stock, most of them belonging to the Lukoil network. The government attributes the situation to the decreasing level of the Danube and the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East, factors that have affected supply chains, and states that it is monitoring the evolution of the crisis to take additional measures if necessary. At the same time, the Farmers' Force Association warns that the lack of diesel endangers agricultural work in several districts.
