A 2.5-meter drone was found in Nucăreni, Moldova, and the area has been cordoned off by the police for investigations.

A drone with a length of approximately 2.5 meters was observed on the shore of a pond, at the entrance to the village of Nucăreni in the Telenești district. The incident was reported by a hunter who alerted the authorities after discovering the suspicious object. The police responded quickly, isolating the area to prevent any risk to the population.

Police crews confirmed that the object will be examined by specialists from the technical-explosive section, who will determine the nature and origin of the drone, as well as any associated dangers. Authorities have issued a call to citizens, urging them not to approach aircraft or suspicious devices and to immediately notify Service 112 in case they observe such objects. Investigations are ongoing, and additional information will be provided after the examination of the drone.
