Russian attack at the border of the Republic of Moldova. A crossing point has suspended its activity.

On the night from Monday to Tuesday, a Russian drone attack targeted the Ukrainian border crossing point Vinogradovka, located near the border with the Republic of Moldova.

The incident occurred on August 25, and the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova reported that at 02:51, a drone heading towards Moldovan territory was detected. At 02:55, the Vinogradovka point was attacked by a Shahed-type drone, without any casualties being recorded. Subsequently, two more explosions were observed in the area.

Following the attack, the infrastructure of the point was damaged, and traffic through the Vulcănești-Vinogradovka point was temporarily suspended. Moldovan authorities also reported another nearby drone, which was shot down by the Ukrainian side. So far, no drone fragments have been found on Moldovan territory, and the Border Police recommend avoiding travel in these areas.
