Ilan Șor's former bodyguard was sentenced to five years in prison for the illegal financing of the political party "Șansa".

The Chișinău Court sentenced a former bodyguard of Ilan Șor to five years in prison for the illegal financing of the political party "Șansa", affiliated with the fugitive oligarch. The defendant was caught in the act while receiving an amount of over 500,000 Moldovan lei, part of a total of 5.2 million lei intended for the illegal activities of the party. He was put on the wanted list after missing the trial, and Ilan Șor, the leader of the party, is currently in Moscow, having been sentenced to 15 years in prison for fraud.
