George Simion has been declared the loser in the lawsuit filed against him by Anatol Șalaru, former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova, who claimed that Simion collaborated with Moscow agents. The court in Chișinău rejected Simion's appeal, confirming Șalaru's accusations. He stated that all evidence gathered by the intelligence services of Moldova and Ukraine shows that Simion poses a danger to national security. In 2023, Simion took legal action after Șalaru claimed that he met with FSB agents in 2011. Additionally, Simion is banned from entering the Republic of Moldova until 2028, having been declared persona non grata.
