The former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Moldova, Anatol Șalaru, stated that the court rejected the appeal of AUR leader, George Simion, against a judicial decision confirming the veracity of his accusations regarding Simion's collaboration with Moscow's agents. Șalaru claimed that the evidence gathered by the intelligence services of Moldova and Ukraine supports these accusations and that Simion poses a danger to the national security of Moldova, Ukraine, and Romania.
Șalaru criticized Simion's behavior, suggesting that he has a double personality, alternating between ties with Moscow and legal actions. Șalaru emphasized that Simion's tactics are similar to those in the KGB manual, including incitements to violence and the division of Romanian society.
