ANRE's decision to designate Moldovagaz S.A. as a gas supply entity in Transnistria is temporary and covers the period from September 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. It follows the termination of Moldovagaz's supply license and is intended to prevent gas interruptions during the cold season. The company will be able to purchase gas on the wholesale market in Moldova, with the obligation to build up reserves to cover 15% of the annual consumption of consumers in the region. ANRE will monitor compliance with these obligations.
