The former Minister of Defense, Anatol Șalaru, announced support for PAS, considering that this is the only path for the integration of the Republic of Moldova into the EU.

Anatol Șalaru, founder of the 'Alexei Mateevici' literary circle and participant in the National Liberation Movement, publicly declared that he supports the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS). He believes that PAS and Maia Sandu represent the only opportunity for bringing the Republic of Moldova closer to Romania and the European Union, warning about the negative influence of Moscow. Șalaru urged unionists to join PAS, emphasizing that lost votes will favor pro-Russian parties and that integration into the EU is essential for national reunification.
