Adrian Băluțel announces that he will resign from the position of chief of staff of President Maia Sandu to become a deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova

Adrian Băluțel, the head of President Maia Sandu's cabinet, announced that he will end his term in this position, following which he will become a deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. The decision was communicated through a post on Facebook, in which Băluțel expressed his gratitude to the president for the trust granted and the lessons learned during the 789 days of activity.


He also thanked his colleagues from the Government, Parliament, and public administration for their cooperation, as well as partners and civil society for the constructive dialogue. His last day as head of cabinet will be on October 31, and from November 1, Băluțel will continue his activity as a deputy. He has held the position of head of the president's cabinet since September 4, 2023.
