The interim Minister of Environment, USR deputy Diana Buzoianu, denied on Wednesday the rumors that votes from USR could help invest the government led by Adrian Veștea. "I announce that it is as ridiculous as the news that it will pass unanimously the support in the national bureau of PNL," she stated in Parliament, emphasizing that the party's decision is clear: "For us, the discussion is very clear, we will not support the Veştea government."
She reiterated that USR will vote against, labeling the speculations as "of extreme ridiculousness," and argued that there is no possibility of parliamentary support for the current government formula. Buzoianu also said that the scenario of a PSD-PNL government is politically rejected by USR, arguing that the party maintains clear "red lines" regarding PSD's participation in the government and any political agreements that would contradict the vote previously expressed by Romanians.
