Cătălin Drulă, USR deputy and candidate for the position of General Mayor of the Capital, states that the postponement of the elections for the mayor of the Capital is an attempt to avoid losing them by the current leadership. He reiterates that, according to the law, elections must be organized within a maximum of 90 days from the vacancy of the position and that this process should not be subject to political negotiation. Drulă emphasizes the right of citizens to choose their mayor, considering the organization of elections a democratic obligation.
