USR officially announced on Friday that it will not support the Tomac Government, a decision made following a vote in the party's Political Committee, in which 131 members voted against, and only 5 were in favor. Dominic Fritz, the leader of USR, emphasized that the majority was clear.
This position coincides with that of PNL, which previously stated that it would not be part of a government that includes PSD and will not support a technocratic government without parliamentary support. The Political Committee of USR met online to discuss the investment of the Tomac Government, in the context in which the designated prime minister finalized the list of ministers, excluding the current USR ministers, according to Fritz's requirements. PNL, on the other hand, accused that the proposed list by Tomac includes individuals close to PSD, reaffirming its opposition to such a governmental formula.
