The Political Committee of USR met on Friday at 5:00 PM in an online meeting to decide on supporting the Tomac Government. The president of USR, Dominic Fritz, will deliver a live video message on the party's Facebook page after the meeting. The decision comes in the context where the leadership of PNL announced that it will not vote for the Tomac Government.

After a meeting with the designated prime minister, Fritz expressed concern that a technocratic government supported by PSD might face difficulties in continuing reforms, considering that PSD was responsible for the dismissal of the previous government. He emphasized that USR cannot form a parliamentary majority with PSD and that the final decision will be made in the statutory bodies of the party, including through consultations in the county branches.
