Kelemen Hunor, after informal discussions at Cotroceni: "There are no miraculous solutions. We need a prime minister who can be accepted by everyone."

The president of UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, stated that the discussions on Thursday at Cotroceni were informal and reiterated that the restoration of the governing coalition is the party's first option. During the meeting with the president, Kelemen presented UDMR's solutions, mentioning that they are not miraculous. He emphasized that, within two to three weeks, it is necessary to form a new Government.

Kelemen emphasized that it is important for the leader accepted by all parties not to come from PSD or PNL, in order to avoid conflicts. He also highlighted the major issues facing Romania, such as PNRR, OECD, and the budget deficit, stressing that the current instability needs to be repaired quickly to ensure a stable future for the country.
