Sorin Grindeanu: "UDMR supports a PSD minority government. We are not fleeing from such a scenario"

Sorin Grindeanu, the leader of PSD, stated that UDMR supports a minority PSD Government, but emphasized that his party prefers a stable governmental formula with a parliamentary majority.

When asked whether it would be a minority PSD-UDMR Executive or just PSD, Grindeanu confirmed that it is about a minority PSD government, although this option is not necessarily desired by the party. He expressed the desire to have a stable Government that governs in the interest of the citizens.

Additionally, Grindeanu ruled out the option of a technocratic Executive, arguing that such a formula would not have sufficient parliamentary support and would not be beneficial for Romania.
