On Monday evening, Csoma Botond, the leader of the UDMR deputies, revealed that the party has been approached to be part of the new government, without discussing portfolios. He mentioned that he asked about the coalition partners, and Veștea indicated PSD, UDMR, and part of PNL, without providing further details.

Csoma emphasized that the decision is complicated, considering the numerous aspects to analyze, and UDMR will decide tomorrow. UDMR leaders are hesitant, fearing that the new government might require collaboration with AUR. Additionally, Csoma mentioned that President Nicușor Dan has not had contact with UDMR leaders in recent days.
