On the occasion of the International Day of Nonviolence, the Romanian Parliament adopted the Declaration 'Romania without domestic violence', reaffirming its commitment to combating domestic violence in all its forms. The declaration, presented by PNL deputy Alina Gorghiu, was adopted with 320 votes 'for' and five abstentions. The Parliament firmly condemns domestic violence and calls on the Government to intensify prevention and protection measures for victims.
