The electoral campaign for the partial local elections will begin on November 22 and will end on December 6, at 7 a.m. The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) reminded candidates of their legal obligations, urging them to contribute to a fair and transparent campaign. Permitted activities include electoral posters, audio and video propaganda materials, advertising in print and online media. Additionally, all advertising materials must be labeled according to European regulations. AEP emphasized the prohibition of using discriminatory messages, incitement to hatred and defamation, as well as restrictions regarding branded vehicles and various forms of advertising. The elections will take place on December 7 for the position of general mayor of the Capital, the presidency of the Buzău County Council, and 12 other municipalities in the country.
