USR proposes capping the price of bottled water in airports and train stations at 3 lei

The President of the Competition Council, Bogdan Chirițoiu, commented on the legislative proposal of USR to cap the price of bottled water at airports, gas stations, and train stations at 3 lei, emphasizing that it is a problem that people are trapped in spaces without alternatives. Chirițoiu mentioned an ongoing investigation against Otopeni Airport, related to tenders and excessive prices. He also emphasized that a legislative solution could solve the problem of high prices, especially at airports, where options are limited.
