Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna stated that early elections are unlikely in Romania, emphasizing the need to find solutions for forming a new government within the current Parliament. He mentioned that the parties have discussed more about what they are unwilling to do than about concrete solutions. Barna acknowledged the decision of USR and PNL to withdraw into opposition, stating that UDMR will not support a government with AUR. The Deputy Prime Minister awaited the consultations at Cotroceni to outline a viable governance option. He emphasized that forming a new government will take several weeks and that there is currently no crystallized majority solution. Tanczos Barna expressed hope that negotiations will be less frequent in the future to ensure economic stability and the credibility of Romania.
