The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, after announcing the results of the elections that took place yesterday: "The coalition must move forward. For 3, 4, 5 months we have seen opinion polls with political votes where AUR was around 40%. I haven't seen even the smallest common gain by AUR, nothing gained by USR."

In a press conference, Sorin Grindeanu stated that he sees no reason for breaking the coalition and that it "must move forward". When asked about the vote of the coalition's parliamentarians on the censure motion submitted by the opposition, Grindeanu specified that he cannot speak on behalf of other political parties, but believes that the current coalition must continue.

He also commented on the recent election results, highlighting the discrepancies between the polls in recent months and the actual vote. Grindeanu mentioned that, although the polls indicated favorable scores for AUR and USR, in reality, PSD won in 12 out of the 14 localities where elections were held. He concluded that these results provide relevant clues about political preferences, even if they do not reflect the entire national picture.
