Siegfried Mureșan accepted the proposal to become prime minister made by Nicușor Dan

Siegfried Mureșan, currently serving his third term as a Member of the European Parliament and considered one of the most influential Romanians in the European Parliament, has announced that he accepts the proposal made by President Nicușor Dan to become prime minister.
President Nicușor Dan said on Thursday that, following the consultations at Cotroceni Palace, no majority had been formed to nominate a prime minister, which is why he nominated MEP Siegfried Mureșan, because he has “the expertise for this position” and “has received the most votes from the parties”.
