President Nicușor Dan explained on Friday that he appointed Siegfried Mureșan as prime minister because, at this moment, he is the person with the most votes behind him, adding that he would have preferred to choose a candidate who already had a clear majority in Parliament.
The head of state appealed to the political parties to find a solution for forming the Government, warning that “we are already in a zone of collective irresponsibility” and that the next 10 days must be devoted to forming a majority.
