Roxana Mînzatu, Romania's candidate for Vice-President of the European Commission, had an intense hearing in the European Parliament.

Roxana Mînzatu described the hearing in the European Parliament as the most complex exam of her life, with three hours of questions. She blamed the lack of approval for the extension of the building she bought in Brasov on the 'chaos in the archives and in the procedures of certain Romanian institutions'. Mînzatu said she would be willing to make available to the press the document from the Ministry of Culture certifying that the building is not a historical monument.
