At the margins of the European Political Community summit in Yerevan, Romania organized a high-level meeting dedicated to the Vertical Gas Corridor, aimed at strengthening regional energy security. President Nicușor Dan stated that diversifying supply sources is not an option, but a strategic necessity.

"Today, on the margins of the EPC Summit in Yerevan, I convened a parallel high-level event regarding the Vertical Gas Corridor and its role in strengthening regional energy security. The leaders present aligned on a central message: diversifying supply sources and transit routes is not optional; it is a strategic necessity. Romania brings real weight to this agenda: geography, infrastructure, and a firm commitment to the transatlantic partnership. Projects like the Vertical Gas Corridor not only transport gas but also strengthen US-Europe ties and anchor regional stability," said President Nicușor Dan on Monday.
