The National Trade Union Block (BNS) requests the authorities to establish clear economic and social priorities, emphasizing the need to stop the erosion of the population's purchasing power and to correct macroeconomic imbalances. BNS highlights the importance of ensuring energy and food security, transparency in negotiations for external loans, and stabilizing the economy through investments. Additionally, BNS calls for direct consultations with political leaders to negotiate a stable governance formula. In the absence of political will, BNS believes that early elections would be the solution.

Romania is facing major economic imbalances, the highest budget deficit in the EU, and an alarming inflation rate. Rising prices for energy and food are affecting purchasing power, and BNS believes that a firm institutional intervention is necessary to stabilize the economic and social situation.
