PSD Senator Robert Cazanciuc expressed hope that, during the month of July, Romania will have a functional government, with Sorin Grindeanu as prime minister, considering the parliamentary arithmetic and the PSD's willingness to assume governance. Cazanciuc emphasized that PSD parliamentarians will be present to vote, even during the vacation period, if the President of Romania calls for an extraordinary session.

He also mentioned that, although early elections are a theoretical option, organizing them would be complicated and would create a political vacuum. Cazanciuc also commented on the possibility of a PSD-PNL-UDMR government, stating that PSD has a proposal for prime minister and that a minority PSD government, supported by UDMR and PNL, could be a viable solution. He reiterated the belief that the President of Romania will appoint Grindeanu, considering him the most suitable option to ensure governmental stability.
