The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, stated that the salary law and the integrity law, part of the package for finalizing the PNRR, have not been submitted to Parliament. At the same time, the social-democratic leader called on Monday for the establishment of a "crisis committee at the level of Parliament to draft the necessary amendments to unblock Romania."

He emphasized that PSD cannot support a law that negatively affects teachers, doctors, and military personnel.

Grindeanu mentioned that PSD supports other legislative initiatives, such as the Administrative Code and the law for rewarding performance for ANAF and VAMA.

He also stated that social-democrats support amendments for the decarbonization of the heating sector, but with amendments, while the Urbanism Code will be supported on the condition that building permits for Bucharest are managed by the Capital City Hall, according to the Referendum.

Grindeanu emphasized that PSD is working on amendments to make the salary law "more equitable" and excluded support for the current version.

Regarding the integrity law, PSD expects it to be submitted to Parliament, ensuring that it "does not weaken" the responsibilities of the National Integrity Agency.
