The PSD Dâmbovița organization voted unanimously for the formation of a government without Ilie Bolojan and without USR, thus becoming the second organization to adopt this position, after PSD Olt. The vote took place in preparation for a national decision regarding the party's direction in the governing coalition, with a decision on PSD's positioning to be made on April 20. Cristian Stan, the head of PSD Dâmbovița, emphasized that the vote was open and that all members agreed with this direction, wanting a government in which PSD's position is respected. Sorin Grindeanu, the president of PSD, stated that it is time for changes in the current coalition, mentioning that the party's weight is not reflected in the influence within the Executive. Grindeanu criticized Ilie Bolojan's desire to lay off employees from the public sector, considering that the reform of the administration must be accompanied by measures that ensure decent public services for citizens.
