President Nicușor Dan declared on Tuesday, in front of Romanian diplomats, that he feels sorry that the governmental rotation could not be achieved in the summer and that the current crisis "has exceeded expectations".
"I feel sorry that we did not succeed, as we would have liked, to achieve the rotation during this summer. It was a political crisis that exceeded our expectations and I hope that, in relation to the future Government, whatever it may be, we will manage to find the right position for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," said Nicușor Dan.
Dan emphasized the logistical and financial challenges that have been postponed, including those related to Romania's administrative offices abroad and foreign policy.
Romania is facing a complicated situation, having a government dismissed for over 130 days, and the PSD has decided to participate in governance, although there are no guarantees for the investment of a new cabinet.
PNL and USR prefer the opposition, while UDMR would be open to the president's proposals, and AUR is calling for early elections.
