The President of the Senate, Mircea Abrudean, declared on Tuesday that PNL will not collaborate with PSD in any Government, regardless of the type of prime minister, whether technocrat or political. This position has been reaffirmed as the decision of the National Political Bureau of PNL.

At the same time, the general mayor Nicușor Dan mentioned that the options for forming a government supported by a majority in Parliament are limited, but he acknowledged that a technocrat prime minister could be a viable option. Although he has a few names of technocrat prime ministers in mind, he specified that he will not advance them until there is a clear majority formula. The president will convene formal consultations with the parties, including representatives of AUR, in the coming days.
