Siegfried Mureșan, vice president of PNL, stated on Wednesday that the formation of a new Government and a Prime Minister is simpler if there is a common denominator regarding Romania's priorities. He emphasizes that discussions about people and positions should be the last, not the ones that block the process.
Mureșan stated that PNL is willing to take on the urgent solutions for Romania in a pro-European government, mentioning that USR and UDMR are also serious parties that will take on the necessary reforms. He added that PSD must express its desire to participate in these measures, emphasizing that there can be no agreements with extremist and anti-European parties.
Additionally, Mureșan mentioned that discussions about the composition of the Government will only take place after a consensus is reached on the urgencies. In this context, President Nicușor Dan expressed hope that the situation will be remedied soon, emphasizing the need for a government with full powers.
