PNL and USR have decided not to collaborate with PSD in the event that the party led by Grindeanu provokes a political crisis. The National Political Bureau of PNL adopted a resolution reaffirming support for Ilie Bolojan's Government and warning PSD not to generate tensions within the Coalition. PNL emphasizes the need for governmental stability in a difficult economic context, while USR criticizes PSD's approach, considering it focused on momentary political interests.

Dominic Fritz, the leader of USR, stated that Romania cannot afford political instability and called on coalition partners to respect their commitments. USR has set priorities for continuing the government and has demanded the end of the interim of the Ombudsman, while condemning the verbal attacks from PSD. Both parties warned that, in the event of a censure motion supported by PSD, they will no longer remain in the Coalition.
