Ilie Bolojan, the leader of PNL, and Dominic Fritz, the leader of USR, agreed on Tuesday to ensure the governance of Romania without PSD, following the withdrawal of the ministers from this party.
Bolojan stated that the incumbent ministers in the Executive will take over the responsibilities of the vacant ministries, ensuring the normal functioning of the government and the promotion of essential projects, including the absorption of European funds for infrastructure and reforms.
Fritz emphasized that PNL and USR received more votes in the parliamentary elections than PSD, highlighting that PSD's dream of controlling the fate of the country is an illusion.
Consultations with UDMR and the minority group will take place on Wednesday, in parallel with discussions at Cotroceni, to talk about forming a minority government.
The Presidential Administration announced the consultation program with all the involved parties.
