Interim Minister Pîslaru stated that Ilie Bolojan is the best option for the position of prime minister, but he does not support the idea of a technocratic prime minister to replace him.

He explained that a technocrat without political support would become a "puppet," unable to make effective decisions. Pîslaru emphasized the difference between a professional technocrat and one who is politically imposed, stating that a true technocrat must have the ability to communicate and fight for necessary reforms.

He provided the example of the technocratic government led by Dacian Cioloș, which started with promises of reform but was constrained by the changing opinions of the parties, leading to the abandonment of important initiatives.

Pîslaru concluded that without stable political support, reforms are vulnerable and can be destroyed by changes in the parties' attitudes.
