The presidential advisor Ludovic Orban stated that the Bolojan Government has no constitutional reason to resign after the Constitutional Court declared the Law on Judges' Pensions unconstitutional. Orban emphasized that the prime minister has not submitted his mandate and that there is no loss of legitimacy following this decision. He criticized the judges of the CCR, stating that there is no constitutional basis for declaring the law unconstitutional and considered that extrinsic arguments, such as the lack of time for the CSM analysis, are ridiculous.

Orban expressed hope that the new appointments to the CCR will bring about a change, but noted that the majority of judges do not take common sense into account and cling to privileges. The CCR's decision was adopted with a vote of 5 to 4, admitting the referral from the Other Court of Cassation and Justice.
