Sorin Grindeanu, the interim president of the PSD, reacted after the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the law on judges' pensions, stating that he will propose the creation of a working group in the coalition to quickly draft a new version of the law. He specified that if the lack of the CSM's opinion is confirmed as a reason for unconstitutionality, the entire law is procedurally invalid.

Grindeanu emphasized the need for a real dialogue with judges and other involved actors and admitted that the initial approach was too rushed. Regarding the content of the law, he mentioned possible adjustments concerning the transition period and the amount of pensions. At the same time, he reiterated that the prime minister should not resign, regardless of the CCR's verdict, maintaining his previously expressed position.
