Deputy Prime Minister Tanczos Barna stated on Digi24 that Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan should not resign following the Constitutional Court's rejection of the special pensions law for magistrates. Barna emphasizes that Romania cannot afford a political crisis, considering the need to approve the budget for 2026 and complete reforms in public administration. He mentioned that the leaders of the governing Coalition will resume the legislative procedure to propose the special pensions reform again.

Additionally, Barna stated that there are no scenarios for the Prime Minister's resignation and that it is essential to continue the fight for reform. The Coalition will meet to discuss the next steps regarding special pensions and the elections in Bucharest, which could take place at the end of the year.
