Tanczos Barna stated that the Romanian Government has tried to negotiate with the European Commission for a delay of the PNRR milestone regarding the reform of judges' pensions, which expires on November 28. He emphasized that there is no more time for delays, considering that Romania has less than a year to finalize the PNRR. Barna mentioned that Romania has already lost 7 billion euros due to delays in project implementation, which has severely affected the country's budget.

Additionally, he called for a focus on efficient projects and payments to finish by the end of August. Also, the Constitutional Court recently rejected a law that modified the retirement conditions for judges, and the leader of UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, stated that discussions on this topic have generated discontent in society.
