The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, will lead the country's delegation to the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, which will take place in New York.
On September 23, he will deliver a national speech in the plenary session, focused on the central theme of the session: "Restoring trust, managing transformation: a United Nations that delivers results for all." In his intervention, the president will highlight Romania's efforts in reforming the UN and the country's contribution to maintaining international peace and security.
Additionally, Nicușor Dan will participate in events and bilateral meetings with international leaders, including discussions about supporting Romania's candidacy for the leadership of the International Organization of La Francophonie. Details of his schedule will be announced closer to the General Assembly's proceedings.
