Official transatlantic visit: President Nicușor Dan and Mirabela Grădinaru travel to New York from September 21–23

President Nicusor Dan will participate, from September 21 to 23, in several official meetings and events organized in New York, in the context of the opening of the High-Level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

On September 21, the head of state will meet with members of the Alliance of Former United States Ambassadors to Romania, Romanian entrepreneurs in the United States active in the technology sector, as well as representatives of JP Morgan Chase and investors in Romanian bonds. On the same day, Mirabela Grădinaru will attend the “Fostering the Future Together Partnership Event” summit, organized under the patronage of Melania Trump.

On September 22, Nicusor Dan and Mirabela Grădinaru will attend the inauguration of “The Queen Marie of Romania Corner,” an event marking 100 years since Queen Marie’s historic tour of the United States. The two will subsequently meet with representatives of the Romanian community in New York. The president will also attend the opening of the UN session, while Mirabela Grădinaru will attend a luncheon hosted by Melania Trump.

On September 23, Nicusor Dan will meet with Benjamin Black, CEO of the US International Development Finance Corporation. On the same day, the president and Mirabela Grădinaru will attend a reception hosted by Donald Trump and Melania Trump.
