Nicuşor Dan participates in the High-Level Week of the UN General Assembly

President Nicuşor Dan will attend several meetings and events in New York from September 20 to 23, in the context of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The president's national address is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, at 4:30 p.m. Romania time, and will be broadcast live on the website of the Presidential Administration.

Before his address, Nicuşor Dan is scheduled to meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Ronald S. Lauder, president of the World Jewish Congress, as well as former US ambassadors to Romania, Romanian entrepreneurs in the technology sector, representatives of JP Morgan Chase and investors in Romanian bonds.

The agenda also includes a visit to the 9/11 Memorial, the inauguration of the “The Queen Marie of Romania Corner” intersection and a meeting with members of New York’s Romanian community. After his speech, the president will attend the Crimea Platform International Summit and the UN Security Council meeting dedicated to Ukraine.

Nicuşor Dan and Mirabela Grădinaru are also invited to a reception hosted by US President Donald Trump and Melania Trump. Mirabela Grădinaru will separately attend meetings dedicated to first ladies and first gentlemen, as well as the summit organized by Olena Zelenska.
