President Nicușor Dan will convene two consecutive meetings of the Supreme Council of National Defense (CSAT) in the upcoming period, according to sources from the Presidential Administration. The first meeting, scheduled for mid-November, will be informal, focusing on the acquisition and production of drones, as well as the military aid that Romania will provide to Ukraine. The second meeting, planned around November 15, will be dedicated to discussing and adopting Romania's National Defense Strategy.

Nicușor Dan emphasized that this strategy will include two major changes: addressing hybrid warfare, including cyberattacks and disinformation, and combating corruption, highlighting the importance of these aspects for national security. The document is nearly finalized and is being prepared for presentation within the CSAT.
