The liberal Siegfried Mureșan, proposed by PNL, USR, and UDMR for the position of prime minister, has asked PSD to stop the "blackmail" related to voting on the necessary reforms for accessing funds from the PNRR.

Mureșan emphasized the importance of the 4.5 billion euros, which will finance essential projects such as the Moldova Highway, modernization of railways, schools, kindergartens, and hospitals. He stated that the reforms are crucial for the development of Romania and requested PSD to return from vacation to vote on the necessary laws in the extraordinary session of Parliament. Mureșan reminded of the commitments made by PSD in April and emphasized that the Bolojan Government has prepared all the necessary documents for the completion of the PNRR. He called for the collaboration of all parties to ensure access to vital funds for the development of infrastructure and public services.
