Marius Budăi, PSD deputy, stated on Friday that Romania urgently needs a new government, without prolonging political discussions. He proposed the formation of a minority government led by Sorin Grindeanu, emphasizing that PSD takes responsibility and is ready to start working immediately. Budăi criticized the emergence of new conditions and procedural tricks that block the process of forming the government, stating that Romania is wasting precious time, and the economy cannot be put on hold due to political pride. He emphasized that PSD is open to dialogue and that it is time for someone to take on governance, instead of continuing with endless negotiations. Budăi concluded by saying that history will remember those who acted responsibly in critical moments.
